Card in a box

Hi stampers,
Welcome to another post.  I wanted to share my love with you for these card in a box ideas.  As you have seen they have been all over the internet lately.  I originally found the instructions on Monica Gales blog Here when she did a Christmas snowflake one.  I cased this and made about 12.  I was hooked.  Second attempt but not the last was these 21st ones.  I had the idea in my head for a while and bought the Stampin Up set "Another great year" just for this purpose. I used some strips of clear window sheet to make the 21 appearing that it is floating.
Next I am going to tackle a Mother's Day one.  Stay tuned.

Post it note holders

Hi Stampers,
I have been CASEing again and found this great post it note holder on Pinterest.  The original artist is Carol Payne, she has also added a calendar to the top instead of the banner that I used.  I have added a box made from the Envelope Punch board which will turn this into a great gift for someone.

Stamps used: petal parade, perfect pennants, petite petals
Card stock: pistachio pudding, cameo coral, basic black, coastal cabana, whisper white
DSP: sweet sorbet
Inks: cameo coral, coastal cabana, summer starfruit
Accessories: petite petals, bird builder and scallop circle punches, banner dies, scallop embossing folder, big shot, dazzling details, envelope punch board

To make box start with a piece of card stock 9" x 9" score and punch using the envelope punch board at firstly 3 1/2" then 4 1/2". Turn 180 degrees then repeat.  On the opposite two sides, line each score line up with the marker score then punch.  To finish use the corner rounder punch on the board to give a professional look.  This box can be keep closed with a belly band.

Upcycled wafer tin

Hi fellow stampers,
Just wanted to share a recent project that I completed. It was for nothing in particular except that I had made some flowers from left over scrap paper.  I upcycled a wafer tin which was left from Christmas. I used the blossom punch from Stampin' Up to create the large roses and the new spiral flower die for the cherry cobbler roses.  Some doilies were added for interest and the bird is a prima product.  The printed papers are also from Stampin' up called modern melody.  When complete I gave it a light spray of sealer just to protect the flowers as I will be using this to store pens and pencils on my craft desk.

Thanks for stopping by.

Closure using Scallop Tag Punch

Hi stampers,
This is my first blogpost on my old site for years.  I decided that it needed a revamp. I was surprised to still see it out there.  Anyway just wanted to share this wonderful card that I found on Pinterest the other day.  The original artist can be found here juliesjapes.blogspot.co.uk I could not wait to Case this card, especially the scallop tag closure, it is easier than it looks.  This technique is all over the internet atm, but I will be showcasing this technique in my next workshop.  Now that I have tried it, I am looking forward to doing a few more versions of it.
All products used are from Stampin' Up.
